What are the materials of plastic garbage bags?

Plastic garbage bags are made of the following materials:
Polyethylene (PE)
High-density polyethylene (HDPE): harder texture, high strength and toughness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, poor permeability, can better maintain the odor of the garbage, commonly used in the production of thicker, larger garbage bags, such as industrial or household use of large garbage bags.
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE): soft touch, good flexibility, high transparency, easy to stretch and tear, suitable for the production of a variety of specifications of ordinary garbage bags, including portable garbage bags and flat garbage bags.
Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE): good tensile properties and puncture resistance, high strength, while having good flexibility and low temperature performance, often mixed with HDPE or LDPE to improve the comprehensive performance of garbage bags.
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC): high strength and hardness, not easy to tear, good transparency, can clearly see the contents of the bag. However, PVC in the production process may use plasticizers and other harmful substances, if contact with high temperatures or oil and grease substances, these harmful substances may seep out of the environment and human health caused by certain hazards, so the application in the field of garbage bags is gradually reduced.
Polypropylene (PP): has good heat resistance, corrosion resistance and rigidity, high strength, not easy to deform. However, the flexibility of PP material is relatively poor, generally less used in the production of garbage bags alone, usually mixed with other materials to improve the performance of garbage bags.
Polystyrene (PS): hard and brittle texture, high transparency, with good thermal insulation and insulating properties. PS material bags are generally thinner, lower cost, but the strength is relatively weak, easy to rupture, commonly used in some of the strength of the requirements of the disposable garbage bags are not high.
Biodegradable plastic: With the improvement of environmental protection consciousness, the application of biodegradable plastic in garbage bags is more and more extensive. Common biodegradable plastic materials include polylactic acid (PLA), polybutylene adipate/terephthalate (PBAT), and starch-based plastics. These materials can be decomposed by microorganisms in the natural environment within a certain period of time, and eventually converted into carbon dioxide and water, which is less polluting to the environment.
